In Memorial to all our Fuzzy Kids that have brought so much Love & Joy into our Lives "We will always Love & Miss You & hold you in our hearts forever"
Earlier this week, our beloved, beautiful Bentley (Indigo) went to Heaven.
He brought such joy into our lives and he was the best dog either of us have ever known. He had such an amazing personality he totally loved all of us and he was so intelligent and always wanting to please. He didn't have a mean bone in his body even when other dogs were aggressive or annoying, he always responded kindly and gently. He even loved our cat and the two of them would sit together every morning on the porch watching the butterflies in the garden. He loved life in every way - loved the beach, the snow and our long daily walks and he loved to play. The most unique thing about him was his sense of humor, I have never known any animal with a sense of humor, before. He would actually tease us and then look at us with laughing eyes. Here's a picture of when he climbed into our bed and got under the covers. And, he was so beautiful we never went anywhere without everyone commenting on how gorgeous he was. I don't know why such am amazing, beautiful, creature was taken away so early in his young life but we are totally heartbroken. But I wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for, the wonderful time we had with him, which totally enriched our lives. We will never, ever forget him. Sorrowfull Daryl
Please give my warmest and heartfelt thoughts to Indigo's family. I know exactly their pain with the instant and unexpected loss almost a nine months ago of my boy Bruno. It's absolutely devastating that such a beautiful animal is lost whether it be by accident or just circumstance. The pain and grief for the first few weeks is almost unbearable and the loss of companionship is missed hourly. We ask God, "Why"? Why would you take such a beautiful animal away from us in their absolute beginning of prime? The only thing that I could tell myself was that "God need another perfect specimen of a Belgian in heaven". We get so attached to these dogs because of their beauty and their inherent intelligence. They win our hearts with one little cute gesture at a time, one little sweet action or there stare at us with those marvelous brown eyes. They steal your heart, then they intertwine their hearts and souls with ours. It's a magical thing that these dogs transform upon us and then having to pay such a high price by laying them on the altar of sacrifice is unbearable. Bruno will always be in my heart as I'm sure their beloved Indigo will be in his families' hearts. The promise that God makes us is that if we follow him, we'll all meet in heaven again someday. That's what keeps me going and comforts my feelings when times are the toughest. God bless all of our babies, especially Bruno and Indigo who are probably playing tug-o-war in heaven right now.
I am so sorry to hear that Bentley (Indigo) is no longer by your side. As I was out walking his brother, Idaho Hearts Rayce, on Sunday afternoon he looked up into the sky as if he was looking up into Heaven. Rayce has a super tracking noise and when he’s not running full blast, he has his noise to the ground . . . so looking up is something out of the norm for him. He looked puzzled like someone was calling him, but he couldn’t tell quite where the sound was coming from. Could it have been Bentley calling out to him? Thank you for the nice note telling us more about Indigo’s sweet spirit. Rayce is so much like him – full of joy, full of love, and very beautiful. Our hearts go out to you and your family. As for Indigo, I am sure he is in Heaven. For the time he was with you, he brought Heaven to Earth.
